Social sciences and humanities (DCSH from the Spanish abbreviation).

The Division of Social Sciences and Humanities at UAM Cuajimalpa (DCSH) has programs focused on high-level teaching, research, and the promotion and dissemination of culture. It is organized into three departments (Social Sciences, Institutional Studies, and Humanities), which consist of full-time faculty members responsible for guiding and implementing undergraduate and graduate teaching programs, as well as participating in research projects and groups.

The DCSH has developed these projects, seminars, research groups, and academic bodies with innovative research lines in the fields of interest of the Division: social sciences, institutional studies, humanities, and interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary studies.

These research groups maintain ongoing work and have established interinstitutional relationships with other national and international research groups and networks.

Since 2010, the DCSH has been part of the network of member centers of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences, CLACSO, and since 2013 of the Mexican Council of Social Sciences, COMECSO.

The Division offers four undergraduate programs and one graduate program (master's and doctorate). The graduate program has been recognized as part of the National Register of Quality Programs of CONACyT.
