What is student mobility?

 

Mobility is the possibility to course a period of the study program in a national or foreign institution with which exists an exchange agreement. In the case of the Cuajimalpa Campus the period of mobility is considered in all the academic programs, and so it is mandatory to keep with it. Mobility implies your incorporation as a student in another institution without giving up your rights as part of the UAM Cuajimalpa alumni. With the objective in mind of offering the security that once fulfilled the academic credits in another institution they will be acknowledged in your original institution on your return. The maximum period of mobility you can course in another institution is two trimesters.

UAM students
  1. Mobility application.
  2. Postulation letter granted by the institution of origin.
  3. Revision, valid certificate of grades and record (requested in the schooling office).
  4. Letter of motives.
  5. A copy of the current inscription in the origin institution.
  6. Two letters of academic recommendation.
  7. Certificate of health insurance.
  8. Copy of a valid ID.

Note: Students willing to incorporate to the postgraduate program, in addition to the above mentioned documents, must attach a copy of the Curriculum VITAE and a proposal of project (maximum 5 pages) in the case of incorporation to an ongoing research. In this case they must have a tutor in the Campus Cuajimalpa.


Visitors

The Universiad Autónoma Metropolitana Campus Cuajimalpa (UAM-C) offers this program to those students willing to attend courses of the available bachelors programs in this Campus in order to complement their academic formation.


Requirements
  1. Application of participation in the mobility programs.
  2. Fill the online registration, your postulation must be made by your university of origin.
  3. Postulation letter granted by the university of origin.
  4. Valid certificate of your grades record with the general percentage (stamped official document).
  5. Letter of intention.
  6. A copy of the current inscription in the origin institution.
  7. Two letters of academic recommendation.
  8. Certificate of health insurance.
  9. Copy of a valid ID.

The UAM works on academic trimesters so in order to postulate to any of them you must send your documents within the application dates:

  • 15 of May for the period comprising September thru December.
  • 15 of October for the period comprising January thru April and/or May thru July.
